Sometimes you stumble across an interior that you just have to share. This award winning Melbourne based hous is one of those.

Because of the warm materials it's comfortable. Because of the shutters it has an atmosphere as if it is always warm outside. And with the use of a lot of black & white it is modern and jet peaceful.

Greek summer house.

Holiday homes, or summer houses. Give them a name; I love them. 

Most of the time they are on spots only known by locals, and with beautiful views. They are decorated with what nature brings, and with the creative mind of its owners.

Nothing is overdone. Every piece in the house has its function.

All for the benefit of relaxing and to enjoy life. 

A lovely example I found on estmagazine.com is this Greek summer house. Four years ago it was a bird nest. Now it is rebuild by the South African photographers Gerda Genes and Robert Koene.
